Curved waveguide HUD

In this article and presentation, we are introducing for the first time to our knowledge, the use of a curved waveguide (instead of flat), as a combiner for HUD/AR applications. Curved waveguides can find applications in automotive HUD (windshield), motorcycle (helmet visor), and AR glasses (curved lenses and prescription lenses).
OSA Imaging and Applied Optics Congress

GoerTek Seminar
08/23/2018: I will be presenting my research activities on holograms and displays at the 2018 GoerTek Optical Seminar, Weifang (China).
I had to cancel my trip to China, due to a 2 hours delay in my United Airline flight from San Diego to San Francisco. Although United acknowledge the delay, they did not provide any compensation or solution to transport me to China. Beware!
