Problems opening a project:
If you can’t open any projects in Optiscan check to make sure that the history file is NOT read-only. Check this by going to your Optiscan directory and open the ‘proj’ directory. You should see a file named history.mat, right click on this file and click properties. Make sure the box next to the ‘Read-only’ attribute is NOT checked. Then click ‘OK’
DLL or Mex-file problems:
- This is a version problem. If you have Optiscan 5.3 you will need to upgrade. Optiscan 5.3 was designed to work with Matlab 5.3 and will not work with Matlab 6.0
- Optiscan 6.0 works with Matlab 5.3, Matlab 6.0 and Matlab 6.1.
- Optiscan currently will not work with Matlab 6.5.
Making Optiscan Writable
