SOCk would like to invite you all to join us on a hike at Blackett’s Ridge Trail, this Saturday, January 28th. This is a 5.7 mile hike that will take us on an out & back path on top of the ridges and cliffs overlooking Sabino Canyon.

When: Saturday, January 28th at 10AM

What to bring:
-Backpack
-Lots of water
-Snacks or lunch
-Sturdy shoes (no flip flops)
-A jacket or sweater in case of cold weather
-Money for parking & gas
-Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.

What to expect: The hike is 5.7 mi (9.2km) with an elevation change of 1778 feet (542m). We will drive to the Sabino Canyon parking lot and start at the Bear Canyon trailhead, and ascend part of the Phoneline trail until we reach Blackett's ridge. We will return along the same route. The weather forecast is 65 F (18 C) and sunny. There is an $8 fee for parking most days, which requires cash.
