Dmitry Reshidko

Dmitry-Reshidko-ProfileDmitry Reshidko is a Ph.D. candidate at the Optical Design Lab led by Prof. Jose Sasian. The Optical Design Lab is specializing in all phases of optical system engineering: design, analysis and implementation. Dmitry’s research involves development of novel imaging techniques and methods for image aberration correction, innovative optical design, fabrication, and testing of state-of- the art optical systems.

The position at the Optical Design Lab gives the opportunities and the tools to explore the latest innovations and discoveries in the field of optics. While working at the Optical Design Lab, Dmitry gained unique experiences in modeling optical system and solving complex, “real world” optical problems in laser systems, miniature imaging cameras, wide angle imaging lenses, zoom objectives, microscope and lithographic systems, solar concentrators and other illumination systems. Many projects Dmitry has involved in are collaborative with industries.

In his dissertation Dmitry is developing simple and efficient tools for aberration analysis and methods for optimization of optical systems that will help improving state-of-the-art imaging solutions.
