Faculty Support
The TRIF Imaging initiative supports startup packages for new faculty with a research focus of advanced imaging technologies. Recent newly hired faculty supported under this initiative are:
- Dae Wook Kim, Assistant Professor, College of Optical Sciences
- Michael Hart, Associate Professor, College of Optical Sciences
Student Support
The Imaging Fellowship from the TRIF Imaging initiative provides matching funds for the salaries of graduate students working in the area of imaging. Twenty students from across campus received these competitive awards for the 2015/2016 academic year. In addition to salary support, the TRIF Imaging Fellowship recipients develop skills in public speaking, grant writing and media development at events throughout the academic year.
