Rodolfo Peon Anaya
Bachelor Degree in Electronics from the Hermosillo Institute of Technology (Mexico)
Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary (Canada)
Working with solar energy since 2003: leading rural electrification projects internationally and managing the construction of large-scale PV plants. Moreover, participated in the design and development of several solar technologies, that include solar tracking, solar radiation concentration and its utilization for power generation, use of heat for many applications, illumination of spaces and water desalination.
Current Position:
Ph.D. Student in the Arid Lands Resource Sciences with minor in Optical Sciences
Research Assistant at the University of Sonora’s Plataforma Solar de Hermosillo
Research Interests:
Concentration Photovoltaics, Water Desalination and Brines Management
