Andrew Pizzimenti
Andrew is a first-year Ph.D. student at OSC. After graduating from the University of Florida in May 2020 (B.S. – Physics), he spent a year as a research intern with the Quantum Information Science group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. In his free time, he enjoys reading, exercising, and trying out new recipes.
Keywords: Quantum Information Theory, Quantum Computing
Research: Andrew is currently interested in developing novel non-Guassiantiy measures and Bayesian tomographic techniques for characterizing non-Gaussian photonic states. He hopes to employ these characterization tools to design systems that efficiently produce non-Gaussian photonic states useful for quantum information processing.
