Photovoltaic Materials

Abstract

Solving the energy crisis should be in the mind of every people. Especially in scientific who carry the responsibility to get the humanity out of this problem. Not that we pretend having the solution, but any step in the right direction should be appreciate.

Renewable and ecofriendly, photovoltaic materials could be one of the answers of the energy hungry humanity by generating electricity directly out of the sun light. Unfortunately, silicon is not cheap to process in large scale and polymers are not yet efficient enough to be competitive.

We are focusing our efforts on improving the efficiency of photovoltaic materials by nanostructuring or nanoparticle loading. We do not limit our research to polymer but investigate also inorganic materials.
