About Us

The College of Optical Sciences works to promote public enthusiasm of scientific research in optics by participating in outreach events throughout the community.  This website is a centralized effort of groups within OSC including Women in Optics (WiO), the Student Optics Chapter (SOCk), and the Center for Integrated Access Networks (CIAN).  Here you will find resources for instructors, hands-on activities for students, and training for leading outreach activities.  Have an idea for a new optics demonstration for us to create? Submit your idea so we can continue to grow our database.
