Welcome!
Optics for All is a University of Arizona student club run by graduate and undergraduate students of the James C. Wyant College of Optical Sciences.
Mission
We lead events and initiatives to serve the optical sciences community, specifically providing a forum for students from underserved, underrepresented, and underinvested backgrounds.Ā
We make social and cultural events; academic and professional development workshops/events; outreach events; and initiatives such as having free period products in all restrooms in the College of Optical Sciences. Most recently, we have started fostering connections with other optical sciences student communities around the world through our yearly event “Prism Weekā, in efforts to connect, collaborate, and inspire each other through optics.
