Low-cost in vivo microscopy technologies

Innovative medical imaging technologies often face challenges in wide clinical adoption due to the high device cost. We have developed the world’s first Smartphone-based Confocal Microscope that can examine microscopic details of human skin in vivo. We continue to develop low-cost in vivo microscopy devices for various clinical applications in low-resource settings, ranging from local clinics in low-income countries to underserved communities in developed countries.
