It was there he was introduced to quantum optics and it&#8217;s applications, and was encouraged to apply to the University of Arizona. He is interested in squeezed light and it&#8217;s applications<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keywords:\u00a0<\/strong>Photonic Quantum Computing, Quantum Information Theory<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research: <\/strong>Alex is working on building a free-space squeezed vacuum generator using a Type II SPDC process from a ppktp crystal.
