The DKIST telescope primary mirror has been installed and its mirror support load cells are calibrated. The grinding of the DKIST mirror is scheduled to start early next month.

The DKIST telescope primary mirror has just been lowered into the Optical Engineering Fabrication Facility (OEFF) through the hatch. The mirror installation task is projected to be complete three months from now.
