Sebastian Magri

Bio

Pursuing my MS under Professor Su, and I am always excited to be a part of this dynamic group of researchers! My current work focuses on the miniaturization and manufacturing of the Little Sensor Lab’s free space Whispering Gallery Mode (WGM) into a Photonic Integrated Chip (PIC). Put simply, the promising results that our group has achieved need to be made into a small form factor that can be reliably reproduced. Once realized, the PIC should be able to detect very small concentrations of molecules across a variety of fields, whether that be early detection of disease to contaminates in water

Interests

I am a movie buff! I also love to play guitar, read books, and get outside. I enjoy cooking and traveling too!
