I am happy to share that Iāve been promoted to associate professor with tenure in both the department of biomedical engineering and the Wyant College of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona. I would like to thank the hard work of my lab members, and the support of mentors, collaborators, friends, and family. I am also grateful for the people who wrote letters of support on my behalf. I extend my thanks to all my research sponsors, project managers, and reviewers, who gave me a chance and provided me with feedback, reminding me that nothing is as easy as it seems, and that hard work remains.
