She moved to Tucson, Arizona with her husband in 1974 and lived there with her husband, Jim, and son, Clair, until her death in 2004. She painted using various media, but after moving to Tucson she concentrated in watercolor. She was a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/southernazwatercolorguild.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild<\/a>, a wonderful watercolor group based in Tucson. Through their workshops, demonstrations and wonderful people, she learned to love watercolor.<\/p>\n<p>A few of her paintings are shown on this page, together with identifications and a brief description of each, and her <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.optics.arizona.edu\/jcwyant\/favorite-artist\/louise-d-wyant-resume\/\">r\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.optics.arizona.edu\/jcwyant\/miscellaneous\/#louise\">Louise A. Wyant Professorship<\/a> has been established in her honor at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emmanuel.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Emmanuel College<\/a> in Boston.<br \/>\nThe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.optics.arizona.edu\/academics\/funding\/internal-scholarships\/louise-wyant-memorial-graduate-student-endowed-scholarship-o\">Louise A.
